Bottom end plate and liquid
distributor
The bottom end plate has an O-ring that is in contact with the column tube. The bottom
end plate also houses the liquid distributor and the lower bed support. Both of these
have O-rings that must be changed periodically. To change the O-rings and protective
seal on the bottom end plate:

Step
Remove the seal holding the lower bed support in place. This will expose the
bed support O-ring that the seal protects.
