USER-PROGRAMMABLE PUSHBUTTONS
CHAPTER 12: LOCAL INTERFACE
Autoreset
Range: Disabled, Enabled
Default: Disabled
This setting enables the user-programmable pushbutton autoreset feature. This setting
is applicable only if the pushbutton is in latched mode.
Autoreset Delay
Range: 0.2 to 600.0 seconds in steps of 0.1
Default: 1.0 seconds
This setting specifies the time delay for automatic reset of the pushbutton when in the
latched mode.
Remote Lock
Range: any FlexLogic™ operand or shared operand
Default: OFF
When the operand assigned to this setting is asserted, pushbutton operation from
operands assigned to the
Set
or
Reset
settings is inhibited.
Local Lock
Range: any FlexLogic™ operand or shared operand
Default: OFF
When the operand assigned to this setting is asserted, pushbutton operation from the
front panel interface is inhibited. This locking functionality is not applicable to
pushbutton autoreset.
Dropout Time
Range: 0.0 to 60.0 seconds in steps of 0.1
Default: 0.0 seconds
This setting specifies the duration of the pushbutton active status after the pushbutton
has been released. This setting applies only to self-reset mode and is required to set the
duration of the pushbutton operating pulse.
Events
Range: Disabled, Enabled
Default: Enabled
This setting enables and disables the logging of user-programmable pushbutton events
in the sequence of events recorder.
The user-programmable pushbutton 1 logic is shown below. The logic is functionally
identical for all user-programmable pushbuttons.
