The QuickPanel View Keypad’s integrated keypad provides numerous options, 
illustrated in the following diagram:

You can configure the integrated keypad using the QuickPanel View Keypad target 
in Proficy Machine Edition v5.0 SP2 or later, where the assignment of keys to the 
animation of displayed objects is supported. For information on linking keypad 
keys to Machine Edition View graphical objects, see the

K e y p a d   O p e r a t i o n

In general, the keys report and operate in the same manner as those on a standard 
keyboard, but note the following:

An additional 14 programmable Function keys have been added to the standard 
12, as well as an additional 8 programmable “guitar-pick” keys.

Function keys are enabled by default. Pressing Fn enables the lower-case alpha 
characters as well as the alternate numeric keypad characters. Use 

SHIFT

 for 

upper-case characters as you would on a standard keyboard.

Keys do not auto-repeat when held down.
