Example:
Frame Bucket #1
Frame Bucket #2
Frame Bucket #3
Input Rate Limiting: 8 Mb/s 2 Mb/s 200 Mb/s
Frame Type: Broadcast, Multicast Broadcast Unicast
Frame Priority: 4-5 0-1, 2-3 6-7
In the above example, the input rate limiting of 8 Mb/s is applied to broadcast and
multicast frames with source priorities 4-5, the input rate limiting of 2 Mb/s is
applied to broadcast frames with source priorities 0-3, and the input rate limiting
of 200 Mb/s is applied to unicast frames with source priorities 6-7 and selected
EtherType frames. All other frames ingressing this port are not rate limited at
input.
Output Rate Limit
Output rate limiting can be applied to Ethernet traffic egressing the selected port.
Output Rate Limit
Sets the egress rate limiting for this port. The options are:
-
Output rate limiting is disabled
<L>
The total bit rate for traffic egressing this port
(regardless of its priority) is limited to
L
where the
available choices for
L
are 128kb/s, 256kb/s,
512kb/s, 1Mb/s, 2Mb/s, 4Mb/s, 8Mb/s, 10Mb/s,
20Mb/s, 40Mb/s, 80Mb/s, 100Mb/s, 200Mb/s,
400Mb/s and 800Mb/s.
Cu port
This frame is active only if the selected port is a copper (RJ-45) port located on
86418-61 or 86418-64 paddleboard module.
Rate: Allow
Allows the user to select the rate and duplex mode for this RJ-45 port.
The following options are available:
-
A: 10M HDX Auto-negotiate up to 10Base-T, Half Duplex
-
A: 10M FDX
Auto-negotiate up to 10Base-T, Full Duplex
-
