TOPOLOGY REPLICA FUNCTION
This continually compares tripping commands with the status of the busbar switches in the topology. If there
is a fault, the device determines optimal tripping zones to minimise disruption to the rest of the circuitry. It
then issues tripping commands to selectively isolate the fault.
This also avoids errors if the actual position of an actuator or circuit breaker is different to that shown in the
scheme, as this could produce a differential current.
