6. On rangetops, remove the two 1/4-in. hex-head
screws and the Phillips-head screw (on each
side), from the back of the control panel

7. Pull the control panel straight out from the
chassis, then carefully lower the control panel
onto a protective, supportive surface.

To remove the grill:
Lift off the grill grate and grill frame.
