TROUBLESHOOTING STEERING GUIDE
The troubleshooting steering guide to use depends on the type of Lift Screw Assembly installed in the
system. Determine the type of Lift Screw Assembly that is installed in the system according to
Lift Type Identification and Related FRU Compatibility Matrix
. Then use one of the fol-
lowing three sub-sections according to the Type of Lift Screw Assembly installed in the Gantry:

Use the following flow charts (illustration 2 and illustration 3) to isolate the issue causing the Lift move-
ment problems on systems with a Type 1 Lift Screw Assembly.
