Job Card TSG M028 - E24 084/008 Error Troubleshooting
for more than 0.5 day.
To perform the desired heating procedure, proceed as follows:
•
Heating procedure for Large focal spot, in contact mode (bucky or stereotactic positioner)
1. Lock Bucky.
2. Put a flat field phantom on Bucky.
3. Acquire two images using the following configuration:
Track Mo, 22 kV and 225 mAs
4. Acquire two images using the following configuration:
Track Rh, 27 kV and 180 mAs

Heating procedure for Small focal spot, in magnification mode
1. Lock Magstand.
2. Put a flat field phantom on Magstand.
3. Acquire two images using the following configuration:
Track Mo, 22 kV and 110 mAs
4. Acquire two images using the following configuration:
Track Rh, 29 kV and 110 mAs

SYSTEM OBSERVATION
The purpose of site observation is to determine the occurrence of the E24 008/084 error resulting from
tube arcing, before deciding whether or not to change the tube.

The below procedure is a suggested site analysis procedure. You may use another site analysis proce-
dure that will give you the same result.

Preventive Actions that May Reduce Tube Arcing

The current date of intervention D1.
2. Write down the new acquisition number value N2 and the new date of intervention D2.
3. Compute the number of acquisitions since your previous date of intervention (N = N2 - N1).
4. Compute the number of exams since your previous intervention since date of intervention D1
[Number of Exams] = N/4 (considering that four views are performed per exam).
5. Compute the number of accepted E24 084/008 errors resulting from tube arcing (one every 400
exams): [Accepted Occurrence] = [Number of Exams]/400.
6. Check the number of E24 084/008 errors resulting from tube arcing (no 170/007 and no 027/003
logged at the same time): [Number of E24 arcing] during time period [D1,D2].
