OVERVIEW
Components
listed in the Component index are units which have significance for the Field Engineer
(FE). They can be physically seen or touched, or are described in the service documentation.
A component is not necessarily a FRU (Field Replaceable Unit).

COMPONENT INDEX TABLE ENTRIES
Each Component Index table contains component information in 11 columns.
The contents of each column are described in the following sections:

This column gives a numeric code which identifies the
class
of the component. Within each sub-assem-
bly, components are sorted by class. The following table gives class codes and definitions, with exam-
ples of components within each class.
