Note:
If you make a typing error, you can correct your mistake at the end (in step 20) after re-entering
the command bootChange.
19. At the -> prompt, check that the IP Address changes you made in step 18 above were set by re-
entering:
bootChange
20. Then press the
<Return>
key at each parameter to and check that the IP addresses have been set
to the correct values.
CAUTION
Double check that the parameters are set as described in step 18 above. An error in any of
the parameters can render the Gantry CPU inoperable, which requires a board replace-
ment.
21. Logout from Poseidon, by entering:
logout
22. Reboot the system (power off and on the Gantry from the X-ray Console).

1. From behind the Browser, launch a command window (see
Launching a Command Line Window
A command window appears with an ADS prompt.
2. Re-enable the external network, as follows:
For V1/V2 Control Stations, enter:
ifconfig eri0 up
For V3 Control Stations, enter:
ifconfig nge0 up
For V4 Control Stations, enter:
ifconfig e1000g0 up
