APPLICABILITY
The trackball is supplied with the V1 Control Station, which is no longer being produced. V2/V3/V4 Con-
trol Stations are supplied with a mouse and with the trackball as an option. This Job Card is only applica-
ble if you have chosen to use the optional trackball, and if the trackball does not have a supplier number
of the format X-GEUSB-Axxxx.

PRE-REQUISITES
It is recommended that you undertake the trackball configuration in a quiet environment. Since the
Senographe system makes some considerable noise, you should ideally unplug the trackball from the
Senographe system and connect it to your laptop PC in a quiet area.

PROCEDURE - TRACKBALL CONFIGURATION

Trackball Configuration
•
Reference numbers used to identify the buttons of the trackball are
shown in the illustration.
•
Trackballs supplied on a new system are correctly configured in
the factory.
•
Replacement trackballs are supplied as received from the manu-
facturer, and must be configured.
•
Before use, check that the trackball buttons are set to be equiva-
lent to mouse buttons, as follows:
1. Check that buttons 1 and 6 are set up for right click.
2. Check that buttons 2 and 5 are set up for middle click.
3. Check that buttons 3 and 4 are set up for left click.
