INSTALLATION OPTIONS
CAUTION:
For connection to cold water
line only.
Option 1: For connection to primary sink faucet
NOTE: For use with filter element FXUTC ONLY.
Use of other filter elements could adversely affect
main faucet flow rate.
Required Tool Kit

Installation Kit – SSKIT(full instructions included
with kit)

Sump Wrench – UCWRNCH (recommended)
1. Shut off cold water supply.
2. Cut out a 3
″
section of pipe.
3. Make connections as shown.
4. Fully open faucet and turn to cold.
5. Slowly turn on cold water and check for leaks.
6. Close faucet when water flow is smooth.
Option 2: For connection to secondary filtered water faucet
NOTE: For use with FXUTC or FXULC (rev. 2) filter elements.

The bracket can be used as a
template for marking the location
of the mounting screws. When
determining the location of the
bracket, make sure you leave 1
