Introduction
For CE Mark compliance, the Model UTX878 flow transmitter must
meet the EMC directive.
IMPORTANT:
CE Mark compliance is required only for units
intended for use in EEC countries.
EMC Compliance
In addition to the standard wiring requirements, the electrical
connections must be shielded and grounded as in Table B-1 below for
EMC compliance. After all the necessary electrical connections have
been made, seal any unused cable entry holes.
Note:
If the instructions in this appendix are followed, the unit will
comply with the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.
