ECG/Respiratory Module Assembly Removal Procedure
NOTE:
For Vivid q N systems that previously did not have the Respiratory Option, it is necessary
remove the ECG Board from the ECG Module Assembly and replace it with an
ECG/Respiratory Board. The preparation and removal procedures below describe the required
steps.
Preparation
1) Access the
D:\
directory and delete the file named traces.res, as shown below:
NOTE:
In the event that the traces.res file is not deleted prior to installing the new ECG/Respiratory
board, the following error message will later be displayed:

1) Lift the Control Panel and Keyboard up to gain access to the cable connector underneath and
disconnect the keyboard/control panel cable from the system - refer to
