only. Lack of maintenance, frequency of stop/starting, extreme
operating conditions etc could lead to accelerated wear.
General;
The service and maintenance schedules (refer to Section 3.4.3.1, Page 47 )
use the codes as explained in the table below;

1.
The indicated activities to be performed as specified in other GEA Grasso
documentation: Parts List (PL), Product Information (PI), Installation and
Maintenance Manual (IMM), Service Instruction Manual (SIM)
2.
Unless otherwise stated: All checkpoints have to be visually assessed for
irregularities like leakages, fractures, overheating, discolourations, dents,
bursts, presence of sludge, debris and solid particles etc.
3.
If applicable, also the original manufacturer’s documentation has to be
consulted. Particularly for the various detection and controlling devices i.e.
solenoid valves, level switches, sensors and pressure switches

Maintenance compressor V (HS, HP) Series
General remarks about check list;
1.
Check list for compressor only; all other components have to be maintained
according to their specific manuals (IMM and SIM).
2.
All items of the list below marked “check“, have to be checked visually and
checked for proper working.
3.
Some components have to be measured.
For measuring details refer to SIM.
4.
Measuring means also that visual inspection is required.
