Prior to Disassembly
Maintenance
Inspections
GEA Tuchenhagen GmbH recommends inspection after 175 operating
hours to check the following:
•
the cleaner for leaks
•
the cleaner for proper function
Maintenance Intervals
To ensure the highest operational reliability of the cleaner, all wearing parts
should be replaced at longer intervals.
The actual maintenance intervals can only be determined by the user since
they depend on the operating conditions, for instance:
•
type and temperature of the cleaning solution,
•
ambient conditions.
As a guideline value, GEA Tuchenhagen GmbH recommends checks at
intervals of max. 350 operating hours.
Prior to Disassembly
Requirement
Make sure that during maintenance and repair work no process is in
operation in the area concerned.
The tank must be depressurized and free from vacuum.
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Drain all pipe system elements that lead to the cleaner and, if necessary,
clean or rinse them.
2.
Allow the cleaner to cool down.
3.
Disconnect all terminals from the proximity switch cable.
4.
Remove the cleaner from the tank.
Done.
