Model and serial number of the Generator Set,

shown on the plate, must always be quoted for

any requests for spare parts and/or for assistance

interventions.

The “G-THOR” Generator Set is essentially a

machine consisting of an alternator (2 Fig. 1) with

its electrical cabinet (1 Fig. 1) and multiplier (3 Fig.

1) that, coupled to a tractor, by means of a cardan

shaft (not supplied as standard), produces electricity

autonomously.

It is therefore able to solve problems due to a

lack of electricity or during blackouts, in various

environments and situations, and can be used to

supply electricity in agriculture, housing, or for

hobby use.

The Generator Set is a “CE” marked machine in

compliance with the safety and health protection

requirements set out in the directives listed below:

-  2006/42/CE (Machinery Directive);

-  2014/30/UE (Electromagnetic compatibility);

-  2014/35/UE (Low voltage);

-  2005/88/CE (Environmental noise emission);

as also reported in the Declaration of Conformity

with which each Generator Set is equipped. The

following standards were also adopted in the

manufacture of the Generator Set:

-  UNI EN ISO 12100-1:2009 (Safety of machinery

- General design principles - Risk assessment and

risk reduction).

-  UNI EN ISO 12100:2010 (Safety of machinery -

Risk assessment - Part 1: Principles).

-  UNI EN ISO 13857: 2008 (Machinery safety -

Safety distances to prevent the upper and lower

limbs from reaching dangerous areas).

-  CEI EN 60034-1 (Safety of machinery - Electrical

equipment of machines).

-  IEC 34-1 (Safety of machinery - Rotating electrical

machines).

-  EN 60204-1: 2016 (Machinery safety - Electrical

equipment of machines).

THE GENERATOR SET IS EQUIPPED WITH:

-  «CE» declaration of conformity.

-  Wiring diagram.

-  Instruction manual for the use of the generator.

-  Instruction manual of the alternator (which

contains data and characteristics of the

alternator).

The manuals and documentation described above are

to be considered an integral part of the Gen- erator

Set and must be consulted before any intervention or

use of the same, even before unpack- ing. Refer to

these manuals also for safety regulations.

Check upon delivery that the Generator Set is intact

and that the material described above is actually

present.

Electrical panel with IP44 protection complete

with 1 CEE 400 V three-phase 5-pole socket with

4-pole differential magnetic-thermal switch, 1 CEE

230 V single-phase 3-pole 32Amp socket with

2-pole magnetothermic 1 230 V single-

phase 3-pole 16Amp socket with magnetother- mic

analogue instruments: voltmeter, frequen- cy meter

and ammeter.

WARNING

The Operator must be suitable and able to read

and understand the contents of this Manual. The

Operator must also use the generator, taking into

account the current reg- ulations on accident

prevention, conditions of use and characteristics

of the generator. The removal and/or tampering of

the guards and safety devices, with which the gen-

erator is equipped, will automatically invalidate the

warranty and the responsibilities of the Manufacturer.

The Manufacturer also disclaims any responsibility

for failure to comply with the safety and prevention

standards provided by the law and as provided in

this manual.

SOUND LEVEL

Being an electrically operated equipment, the

machine produces a noise of less than 80 dB. The

noise is generated when operating with the tractor

hitched and, therefore, can vary depending on

the type of tractor. Working in the vicinity of the

Generator Set ON, the Operator must in any case

wear ear protection devices.

2. SECURITY AND PREVENTION

2.1 SAFETY

The Operator must be trained about the risks arising

from accidents, about the devices designed for

Operator safety and the general accident prevention
