area in which you are acting is clear and that there 

is a sufficient “escape space”, that is, a free and safe 

area, in which you can move quickly in the event 

that the load fell.

4.USE

4.1 APPLICATION TO THE TRACTOR

The application of the Generator Set to the tractor 

is an important operation that can determine the 

correct functioning and duration of the Generator Set 

itself.

The Generator Sets of the «G-THOR» range can be 

applied to any tractor equipped with a universal 

three-point hitch.

DANGER

Application to the tractor is a delicate phase. Be very 

careful to carry out the entire operation by following 

the instructions provided.

The correct position of the tractor/Generator Set is 

determined by placing the Generator Set on a flat 

surface by placing the 4 support legs evenly (never 

raised from the ground) at a distance from the 

tractor, such that the cardan shaft remains extended 

5-10 cm from the maximum closing position.

At this point, proceed as follows:

1) Approach the two bars of the tractor lifter (1 Fig. 

5), placing them inside the brackets (4 Fig. 5) of 

the two lower points and insert the two pins (2 

Fig. 5) in the prepared holes and lock everything 

with the relevant snap pins.

2 ) Block the two lifter bars with the appropriate 

parallel chains and tensioners on the tractor. This 

precaution must be implemented to avoid any 

transverse movement of the Generator Set dur- 

ing operation.

3) Connect the tie rod (5 Fig. 5) to the third upper 

point (6 Fig. 5), locking it with the pin (7 Fig. 

5) with the relevant snap-on cotter pin and, by 

means of the tie rod (5 Fig. 5), make a correct 

adjustment by checking that the upper floor of 

the unit is parallel to the ground floor. This is 

very important in order to obtain the parallelism 

between the PTO shaft axis of the Generator Set 

and the tractor PTO.

4) Insert the “CE” marked cardan shaft (not supplied 

as standard), in the attachment inside the 

protection hood of the Generator Set (8 Fig. 5).

5) Engage the cardan shaft to the tractor PTO making 

sure it is perfectly locked on the PTO itself. Always 

use the 540 rpm PTO speed.
