cover and using a brush, redistribute the grease over the worm wheel and the worm gear. Replace the
protection cover.
The winch is now ready for use.
To enable the load pressure brake to function correctly, the winch must carry a minimum load of approx. 5% of
the nominal load.
3.5. Operating
The winches are suitable for manual operation only.
For the load to be hoisted, turn the crank clockwise.
For the load to be lowered, turn the crank anticlockwise.
The winch is equipped with a Free Spool (FS) option for the cable drum.
Follow the next instructions to engage and disengage the cable
drum.
To disengage:
To be able to operate the Free spool clutch handle ( red
lever) there must be no load on the drum.
Set the cable drum free by turning the drum 4 cm in
direction A.
Then turn the clutch handle in direction C.
The drum is now free to spool of the cable
To engage:
Turn the clutch handle in direction B. Rotate the cable drum in
direction B until it locks.
The winch is now ready to hoist.
The FSB versions are equipped with an adjustable slipping clutch.
The slipping clutch enables the cable to be discharged in a
controlled manner in the free spool mode.
The slipping clutch can be set by unscrewing the 4 adjustment
screws. De spring will be set correctly for the right torque.
