6.2
Pre-Start Checks and Instructions
Once the unit has been physically installed and connected to power and services, the following checks are required:
1.
Power connected and electrical wiring (cable) not damaged.
2.
Power cord easily accessible.
3.
Gas supply pipes and patient circuit hoses are attached and not damaged.
4.
Gas supply pipes and patient circuit hoses are clear of any blockages or foreign matter.
5.
Filter(s) clean and in place or attached, including the Bacterial Filter and HMEF.

Risk of electric shock and fire. Do not use conductive
or antistatic breathing hoses with the GeVentor.

Risk of explosion. Do not allow oxygen supply
components to come into contact with elements
(such as fuels, heat, oils) that may result in
combustible or explosive gas mixtures.
