Controls that bypass any portion of the operating control circuitry shall be locked when not in use. When a bypass is in operation,
the function bypassed shall be under constant and close supervision. Repair of the fault shall be set as a priority and shall not be
run as a long-term solution.
6.19
Battery Life Indicator
The batteries used on the device enable the GeVentor to operate for 25 minutes (typically) without utilising external electrical
power. Two battery alarms to warn when the battery life is low and critically low. The battery life indicator is displayed on the top
right of the HMI page, as shown below:
CAUTION
If it is suspected that the batteries are not
performing to the required or expected
performance, replace the batteries or contact the
manufacturer.
In the case that the electrical supply power cable is pulled off the GeVentor, the Battery Life Indicator turns
red
as given below,
and the percentage remaining life displays on the four bars:
NOTE
It is required that during long term storage of the
GeVentor, the batteries are to be fully charge
every 5 months to prevent battery damage.
