Preliminary Checks 

Before use, check that the Dust Fighter: 
 

 

Is positioned on flat ground in a well ventilated area 

 

Has protective barriers positioned approximately 2m around the unit 

 

Is correctly connected to a suitable water supply 

 

Is correctly connected to a 240V 60 Hz power source 

 

Has no cut, worn or bare electrical cords and that all electrical connections are secure 

Starting the Unit 

Lifting the Unit 

 

Safety Notes: 

 

Do not use the lifting eye if there are signs of damage or corrosion. 

Do not use the lifting eye for anything other than its intended use. 

Be aware of people and objects onsite when moving or lifting the unit. 

Note:  

The Dust Fighter should only be lifted using 

equipment with sufficient load capacity. 

 

When  lifting  the  unit,  attach  any  slings, 
chains or hooks directly to the central lifting 
point

 

Use the forklift pockets 

‘B’

 with care: avoid 

approaching  the  unit  at  an  angle  as  this 
can  cause  permanent  damage  to  the 
forklift pockets, tires or cabinet. 

Press start button 

‘A’ 

to start the fan. 

Open valve 

‘B’ 

to release the water vapour from the 

nozzles. 

 

Safety Note: 

Never direct the water jet toward people or animals: shut down immediately 

if people or animals enter the working area.
