Maintenance
Greasing the Rack
NOTE:
Grease the rack every five hours.
1.
See
. Use a screwdriver to remove the
11 guard screws, washers, and lock washers (A)
that secure the center guard (B).
2.
Remove the guard screws, washers, and locknuts
that secure the flywheel and guard.

. Disconnect return spring (C) from
eye bolt (D).

. Pull the rack out and grease rack
teeth (E), top side of rack, and pinion (F).

5.
Push the rack back in and reinstall the return
spring to the eye bolt when finishing greasing.
6.
Reinstall the guards.
Adjusting and Replacing the Belt
Checking and Adjusting Belt Tension
1.

that secure the flywheel and guard.

the top of belt (D).

Push on the top of the belt with about 10 pounds of
pressure. The belt should deflect approximately 1/2
in (1.27 cm) to 5/8 in (1.59 cm). If the distance is
not between 1/2 in (1.27 cm) to 5/8 in (1.59 cm),
adjust per the following directions.
