SAFETY RULES
SPECIFIC TO THIS
DUST COLLECTOR
●
Never
pick up metal, glass or water.
CAUTION:
This dust extractor is not
suitable for picking up hazardous dust.
●
When wood dust and wood shavings are
confined to an area, the possibility of an
explosion exists. Be aware of the existence
of possible sources of ignition and take
steps to minimise these.
●
Do
not pick up any material that is burning
or smouldering such as metal grinding
dust, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
●
Never try to move the dust extractor by the
cordset.
●
Never use the dust extractor without the
cartridge filter assembled.
●
Always switch the machine off before
changing filters and emptying the dust
collection drum.
●
Regularly
inspect the filters for damage.
Replace damaged filters. Regularly check
that the filter cartridge and filter bag are
properly sealed and fitted.
●
Regularly
check that the motor housing is
secured to the dust collection drum by the
locking strap.
●
Always
wear personal protection
equipment such as a dust mask, safety
glasses and ear muffs.
●
When
emptying filter bag or dust collection
drum, be careful not to inhale dust.
●
This
appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
