No smoking when filling the fuel tank. Full
level is 1 inch below the top of the fuel neck.
Engine should be off for 2 minutes before
attempting to fuel as to not ignite fuel
vapors.
Oil must be added before first operating the
generator. Quantity depends on the model.
Oil level should be kept between the upper
and lower limits on the dipstick. Check oil
level before each use. Too much or too
little oil will increase part wear and therefore
will shorten the generator service life.
Do not touch muffler or engine block. They
are hot and will cause severe burns. Do not
put flammable or combustible materials or
fluids in the path of the exhaust.
Do not operate indoors. Exhaust fumes
contain carbon monoxide, which is an
odorless, tasteless gas that is deadly.
