8. Automatic use of GUARDIAN FR-6 model
8.1 Installation
of the generator GUARDIAN FR-6 is extremely simple. Both the
maneuvers driver and the transfer relay are built into the generator itself so it is not
necessary any external control box. The generator should simply be intercalated in
the power line, which will be protected against a power outage.
For example, this is a connection to protect a small house or location
(maximum total consumption less than 6000W).
NOTE:
As shown in the diagram, city power passes at all times through the
generator before reaching the house or location. The power passage through the
generator is limited to 6000W to avoid damaging the internal wiring of the
generator. If this power passage through the generator is exceeded, the circuit
breaker will interrupt this energy to protect the equipment.
If the generator is installed in a house or location where it is consumed more than
6000W, it will not cover all uses. In that case, select the lines which must have
energy supply, usually lighting, devices, safety equipment and protect only those
lines (do not exceed 6000W), see example 8.2:
Example, this connection is to protect only a few lines of a house or location
(due to consumption exceeding 6000W).
