Platform Overload System Troubleshooting
Condition
Possible Cause
Solution
Cannot lift rated load
Relief valve set too low
Increase relief valve pressure
At max. Height with rated load in platform,
pressure switch alarm continues to sound
System needs to be reset
Turn off red emergency stop button,
wait three seconds and turn machine
back on
Max. Height limit switch out of
adjustment or faulty
Lower the up limit switch slightly or
replace contacts
Too much weight in platform
Put correct rated load in platform
Pressure switch out of
adjustment
Turn the pressure switch nut 1/4 turn
into the hydraulic line
Batteries are not fully charged
Charge batteries
Overload system not adjusted
properly
Repeat calibration procedure
Slider channel not lubricated
Lubricate the slider channel
At down limit with rated load in platform, the
pressure switch alarm continues to sound
System needs to be reset
Turn off red emergency stop button,
wait three seconds and turn machine
back on
Down limit switch out of
adjustment
Raise the down limit switch
Too much weight in platform
Put correct rated load in platform
Overload system not adjusted
properly
Turn the pressure switch nut 1/4 turn
into the hydraulic line or repeat
calibration procedure
