c. As wheel spins, look at internal gears for oil
d. If no oil is present fill with 110 cc of SAE 140 oil
e. If refilling fill with 90cc of SAE 140 oil
7. Adjust rear brake (using cable tension adjuster on rear drum)
8. Check front brake for firmness
a. While pulling and holding front brake inspect lines and caliper for seepage
9. Install mirrors
a. Blue bag for right (
note: right mirror is left hand thread
)
b. Yellow bag for left (
note: left mirror is right hand thread
)
10. Install mud flap and rear reflector
11. Check tire pressure (30psi front and rear)
12. Remove all protective packing materials, seat cover, and plastic film from reflectors
(Starting and Break-in)
1. Make sure key is in the run position
2. Make sure kill switch is in the run position
3. Crank engine in five second sessions to prime engine
4. Start engine
5. While engine is running listen for unusual noises and rattles
6. Visually inspect for fuel and or oil leaks
7. Check for loose bolts and nuts
8. Check high and low beam operation
9. Check turn signals for proper operation
10. Check tail and stop lamp operation
11. Test drive
