13. Remove engine fan shroud and attach kickstart lever, the bolt should go in through the top.
14. Check all wiring connections in engine compartment.
15. Clean carburetor, refer to video for detailed instructions. This includes pulling and cleaning the jets and
removing any residue in the float bowl.
16. Check that all hoses are run and attached properly, be sure to check that all clamps are tightened.
17. When adding fuel to gas tank. be careful not to overfill because it will clog the evap. system, causing vapor
lock / stalling issues. Turn fuel petcock to “ON” position.
18. Start engine. As engine warms up, check for fuel/oil leaks.
19. Check tire pressure (30 psi front, 32 psi rear, 32 psi spare).
20. Check operation of headlight high/low beam, dash lights, taillight, brake light, turn signals and horn.
21. Attach mirrors.
22. Attach cowls, make sure that top spring seats properly in latch. Cowl should form a seal against the scooter
body. If it does not, adjustment may be necessary.
23. Test ride.
