The FTI 300 is supplied with a Li-Ion rechargeable battery. Before first use the battery has to be
charged as below:
Connect the Micro USB plug of the USB cable with the USB socket of the instrument. Plug the USB
cable into the charging plug and connect it with the power socket.
If the instrument in OFF status is connected with the Micro USB charging connection the charging
process starts automatically and the display powers on.

Charge the battery only at indoor temperature conditions as otherwise the battery performance
will drop.
