(E) Module Operation Description
1. When a UPS anomaly occurs, the DIALING UNIT automatically calls
out to inform the emergency through specified phone number. The
green LED is lit during the dialing process. The yellow LED is
illuminated when the call is connected and data is in transit. Once the
transmission is completed, the DIALING UNIT consumes no additional
power.
2. If a dialing attempt is unsuccessful, the unit will try to redial the same
number after every 2 seconds until connected. The total number of
redial attempts for each number is established by the ‘DIAL TIMES’
setting in Menu 14.
3. Once the redial times exceeds the established setting, the unit will call
the second number, using the same redial. The maximum call attempts
for one UPS anomaly is 99.
4. Once the call from the DIALING UNIT contacts the of RECEIVING
MASTER, emergency personnel answering the call will a pulsating tone
in the receiver. At this moment, emergency personnel should press the

and

keys simultaneously on the panel of the RECEIVING
MASTER in order to successfully receive the information. If emergency
personnel fail to press the keys, the data will be lost. The DIALING
UNIT will judge this as dialing failure and redial the number.
