3.3. Cable Selection
The following tables list typical information concerning the KVA of the UPS versus
the size and rating of the cables. Inadequate cable size or over sized breakers will
incur risk of fire or damage of insulation. Therefore, please use the following tables to
determine the input circuit breaker rating and the size of cable for input, output and
battery connections. These data are for reference; final decisions should be made in
accordance with the local electrical codes.
