Expanding Your Computer
Using Storage Cards
NOTE:
You can use only storage cards. Your Card Reader does not support
cards with I/O (input/output) functions such as a wireless network card or
Bluetooth card.
Your computer has a storage card reader. The card reader is a small drive for
reading from and writing to removable storage cards (or called memory
cards). The reader supports SD (Secure Digital), MMC (MultiMediaCard), and
MMC Plus cards.
To insert a storage card:
1.
Locate the storage card reader on the right side of the computer. Lift the
latch to open the protective cover..
2.
Align the card with its connector pointing to the slot and its label facing
up. Slide the card into the slot until it reaches the end.
3.
Windows will detect the card and assign it a drive name.
To remove a storage card:
1.
Double-click
My Computer
.
2.
Right-click the drive with the card and select
Eject
.
3.
Slightly push the card to release and then pull it out of the slot.
