Menu structure

Prepare the service case (1) (refer to the service case documentation).
X
Connect the drive, synchro-network or IQ box Safety (14,15,16,17) using the enclosed connection cable (11) to
the "WINDOW" (8) connection of the service case.
X
Insert the power supply cable connector (13) into the service terminal ST 220 and tighten both screws. Con-
nect the other end of the power supply cable to the field "ST 220" (7) of the service case.
X
Set the "WINDOW OPEN" switch (4) to the central position.
X
Switch the "POWER 24V" switch (3) on.
The service terminal ST 220 switches on automatically and the start screen appears automatically.
The drives are not supplied with voltage yet, since the WINDOW OPEN/CLOSE switch is still in the central position.

Set the "LIN-BUS" switch (5) to ON.
X
Set the "WINDOW" switch (4) to CLOSE.
The drive moves to its end position.

The service terminal ST 220 can only be used with the "LIN-BUS" switch in the ON position and the drive at a
standstill (setting parameters/diagnosis).

The switch “Window” must be on CLOSE, otherwise no voltage will be connected to the drive.
If the rechargeable battery of the service case is not charged or is too weak:

Connect the mains connection cable (10) to the "MAIN POWER" connection (2).
X
Switch on the 24 V operating voltage of the service case using the "POWER 24 V" switch (3).
The green LED "POWER 24 V" lights up.
The ST 220 switches on automatically and the start screen appears automatically.
