4.4 Strike box (passive leaf 2-leaf)
The corresponding strike box tested in accordance with EN 179 and EN 1125 and the correspondingly tested flat
face plate are enclosed with every lock.
The designation of the flat face plate depends on the DIN direction of the passive leaf.
Example:
If the active leaf of a double-leaf door is DIN right, the passive leaf is DIN left. This means that the end of the face
plate that can be shortened faces left when the mounted flat face plate is viewed in the passive leaf.

State the DIN direction of the passive leaf correctly when ordering.

Lock latch and auxiliary latch of the lock must be activated from the same reference edge.

The distance between the strike box and the flat face plate must be between 3 mm and 7 mm.

Lock latch and auxiliary latch must be able to slide over a level surface without obstacle into the closing posi-
tion when the door closes:

Any profile ribs or profile grooves must be compensated.

There must not be any holes, indentations or unevenness in the entry area of the auxiliary catch:

When mounting the strike box ensure that the auxiliary catch cannot latch into the recess for the cross latch/
crossbar!

When mounting the flat face plate on the strike box, tighten the M4 × 6 screws with a maximum torque of 1.4 Nm.

Following removal and repeated mounting of the flat face plate on the strike box, tighten the screws using a
threadlocker (also applicable when supports are used).
