GHL Doser Resource Guide
Release 07/2018
48
If during a firmware update, the process was interrupted, it is possible that the previous
firmware was lost. This would result in no response from the GHL Doser 2.1 / Maxi Slave; the
GHL logo light would also be off.
To perform an emergency firmware update on a Slave doser, please repeat the steps for
Updating Firmware for GHL Doser 2.1 Slave
. When prompted to reset device for emergency
update, do that and immediately click “OK”.
Problem:
Cannot connect to GHL Doser 2.1 SA via Wi-Fi.
Solution:
Check possible issues noted below
Please note that there are two Wi-Fi connection options. For more information, see
If trying to connect via Standard Wi-Fi Connection:
●
Make sure the device you will be using to connect to the doser is also connected to the
same Wi-Fi network.
●
Make sure you’ve entered the exact IP address you assigned to the doser into the
Host
box of the app or GCC’s connection settings.
○
If you let your network automatically assign an IP address for your doser, you
must know what that IP address is by logging into your router settings and
viewing the IP address map.
●
Make sure the doser’s Wi-Fi settings match your Wi-Fi network’s settings
When you setup the doser’s Wi-Fi settings it is very important to put in the exact details of your
network, otherwise there will be connection problems. If you are unsure on how to find the
details of your network, please refer to the
