Parking the EPAC safely
WARNING Danger of injury from your EPAC falling over
An EPAC that is supported by its kickstand or leaning against a house wall or garden fence, for
example, can fall over when subjected to a small force. This may cause injury to individuals or
animals and damage other objects.
· You should only park your EPAC where it does not represent an obstacle or nuisance to anyone.
· Keep children and animals away from your parked EPAC.
· Please do not park your EPAC next to items which are easily damaged, such as cars and similar
items.
If your bicycle has a kickstand:
1.
Stop your EPAC on a flat and firm surface.
2.
Turn off the electric drive by removing the display. (see
section 10.3 ,Switching off the
electric drive
).
3.
With the EPAC stationary, use your right foot to fold the kickstand down until it clearly
locks in place.
4.
Turn the handlebars so that they point slightly to the left.
5.
Lean your EPAC carefully on its left side until it is in a stable position.
6.
Check the stability of your EPAC:
·
Hold your EPAC lightly with one hand by the handlebars or saddle.
·
Push the saddle of the EPAC lightly with the other hand in all directions.
Look for another place to park your EPAC if it could easily fall over.
