Calibration and Testing

4.1 Calibration Procedures

Calibration tolerances referred to in these procedures are intended to optimize the performance
of the UUT; they should not be construed as specifications. Performance specifications are
presented in Chapter 1 of this manual. The recommended interval between calibrations is one
year.

The GT 9000 being calibrated or tested is referred to in these procedures as the UUT (unit
under test).

The required warm-up time before calibration or testing is 72 hours (2 hours if an external
timebase is being used, or if timebase accuracy tests are not to be done).
