Advanced Power Management Configuration

Description
CPU P State Control
Press [Enter] to configure advanced items.
SpeedStep (Pstates)
– Conventional Intel SpeedStep Technology switches both voltage
and frequency in tandem between high and low levels in response
to processor load.
– Options available: Enable, Disable. Default setting is
Enable
.
Turbo Mode
– When this item is enabled, the processor will automatically ramp
up the clock speed of 1-2 of its processing cores to improve its
performance. When this item is disabled, the processor will not
overclock any of its core.
– Options available: Enable, Disable. Default setting is

Hardware PM State Control
Press [Enter] to configure advanced items.
Hardware P-States
– When this item is disabled, the processor hardware chooses a
P-state based on OS Request (Legacy P-States).
– In Native mode, the processor hardware chooses a P-state based
on OS guidance.
– In Out of Band mode, the processor hardware autonomously
chooses a P-state (with no OS guidance).
– Options available: Disable, Native Mode, Out of Band Mode,
Native Mode with No Legacy Support. Default setting is
Native
