To prevent certain apps and services from not working properly in Data save mode and without
a WLAN, you can specify that these apps and services can continue to retrieve background data
using mobile data.

Some of the functions only work with limited functionality when mobile data usage
is disabled.
Restricting background data can impact the performance of the app. For example,
