Set up
1.
Connect the receiver to your iPod touch/ iPhone.
“
Application Not Installed
” dialogue box appears.
2.
Select
Yes
. The iTunes App Store will open
automatically to the HD Radio Application. Follow on-
screen instructions to install the HD Radio Application.
3.
Connect your headphones to the headphone jack on
your receiver.
4.
The receiver turns on automatically when you turn on
your iPod touch/ iPhone.

Note:
The headphones function as an antenna for
better reception.

Listen to the radio
1.
Choose the
icon on your iPod touch/ iPhone to
launch the HD Radio Application. The radio tunes to the
station last played or the first available station on first
use.

Use the touch screen on the iPod touch or iPhone to
tune to a station.

Notes:
• You can listen to analog FM stations with your receiver
and other iPod models.
• Press the Home button on your iPod touch/iPhone to
exit the HD Radio application.
• When using in a vehicle, avoid placing the receiver
directly in front of a vehicle’s cooling or heating vents.
• To receive a call via a microphone headset: Remove
your headset plug from the HD receiver, plug it into
your iPhone’s headphone jack and press “answer”.
• To receive a call using your iPhone’s handset: Remove
your headphones, press “answer” and talk via the
handset.
iTunes tagging
1.
When the receiver recognizes an HD Radio channel
and the song can be tagged, the
TAG
button lights
up. Press
TAG
to store song information to your iPod
touch/iPhone. “
Tag Complete
” appears if tagging is
successful.
Select
TUNE
or
FAVORITE
.
Listen to the
previous station.
• Press to turn sound
on/off.
• Press and hold to bring
up the volume control
and adjust volume.
Search for stations/
subchannels.

Rotate to tune stations.

Touch the grey star
to save this
station into your Favorites list. The
grey star turns white. Touch the white
star to delete the station from your
Favorites list.

Connect the iPod touch/ iPhone to a computer to sync
with iTunes.
3.
iTunes then creates a folder named
Tagged
under the
Store
heading where it displays the song title, artist,
album, and other saved information for songs you’ve
tagged. You can save, review, delete, or purchase any of
the songs through the iTunes store.

Notes:
• To ensure tagging is successful, make sure your iPod or
iPhone is unlocked and the Tag button is illuminated.
• Tagging will not complete if another tagging is already
in process or if the frequency is changed prior to
receiving the “
Tag Complete
” feedback notice from
the application.
