Composition
The numbers refer to the numbers
in the photograph.
The soap stamping press is composed
of a stainless steel pressure plate (2)
which accommodates an aluminium
pressure bar (3). Using the knobs
(4) and the hex key (7), both can be
adjusted to accommodate differently
sized bars of soap.
The various stamp plates (10) can be
attached to the stamp housing (9)
with the stamp plate fixing knob (5).
The stamping height can be adjusted
by loosening the adjustment knob
(8) and moving this knob upwards or
downwards.
A stamp plate is pressed onto the
soap using the lever (6), leaving an
impression on the soap.
The device is mounted on a white
base plate fitted with rubber feet (1).
Directions for use
The soap stamping press can only be
used on bars of soap which are still
warm. Once the soap has cooled,
it will be so hard that the press will
not leave a suitable impression.
The stamping of soap:
1. Loosen the fixing knob to remove
the previous stamp plate and
insert the desired stamp plate.
Make sure that the stamp plate
fits the housing correctly.
2. Loosen the pressure plate adjust-
ment knobs, as well as the hex
bolt in the aluminium pressure bar
with the hex key provided.
3. Place the bar of soap to be
stamped on the pressure plate
and set it in such a way that
the stamp meets the soap in
the desired area.
4. Adjust the stamping height in
such a way that a suitable
impression is created when
the lever is brought all the way
down. This is most easily done
by moving the stamp upwards or
downwards from the back with
the adjusting knob.
5. Now tighten all the knobs by hand
and the stamping press is ready
for use.
Tip
– First manually stamp a bar of
soap with the desired stamping plate
and then insert the stamping plate
into the press. Loosen all the adjusting
knobs and push down the lever.
Hold the manually stamped bar of
soap against the stamp plate to make
sure that its position matches
the impression, and tighten all the
adjusting knobs. Now you are ready.
