When using your percolator, basic safety precautions must always be

followed, including the following:

1.     Read all instructions.

2.     Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

3.     DO NOT REMOVE LID DURING BREWING CYCLES. Scalding

        may occur if lid is removed during the brewing cycles.

4.     Do not use the percolator without Coffee filter, Filter cover and 

        Water pipe. THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT A WATER BOILER.

5.     Never plug on the percolator without water inside its pot, or the

        appliance will cutoff automatically. Element inside may burn out.

6.     Do not add water beyond the max. cups level.

7.     To protect against fire, electric shock or injury to person, do not

        immerse cord, plug in water or other liquid.

8.     Close supervision is necessary when the percolator is in use or

        when coffee is hot. Do not allow children to use this percolator. 

9.     Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to

        cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the

        percolator.

10.   Do not operate this percolator when the power cord or plug 

        damaged or if the appliance malfunctions, is dropped or has been

        damaged in any manner. Call Ginny’s Customer Service for a

        replacement or return at our toll-free number. 

11.   The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the 

        appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury

        to person.

12.   Do not use outdoors.

13.   Do not let cord hang over edge of table and counter, or touch hot

        surface.

14.   Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated

        oven.

15.   Do not move the percolator while it is heating. Unplug the power

        cord before you move the appliance to pour coffee.

16.   Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into wall 

        outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug 

        from wall outlet.

17.   Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
