Conduct consultation including patient history and expectations prior to starting a series of treatments.

Patient should not have used any exfoliation products or solutions 24 hours prior to treatment
(Glycolic, Retin-A, etc.)
3.
The operator should always wear gloves (eye protection and mask are optional).
4.
Patient MUST remove contact lenses.
5.
Drape patient’s hair and clothing.

Evaluate the skin to determine the appropriate crystal size for the treatment. If you are unsure how the
patient will tolerate treatment, always start with NORMAL #12. You can always progress to a more
aggressive crystal.
7.
Start by cleansing the skin with Chamomile Cleanser.
8.
The skin must be completely dry before the procedure is conducted.
9.
With gloves on, test the pressure of the machine with your finger. The gauge should read about 15
(outside numbers) to begin.
