4.1
Switch-on
WARNING: Before switching on the equipment, always verify the correctness of the electrical
connection; also check that the tank is filled with water, to avoid seriously damaging the refrigerating
unit and the electrical resistance.
4.2
Water dripping from the hydraulic safety unit
It is normal for water to drip from the hydraulic safety unit during the heating stage.
The heating water expands and cannot be compressed. If the water system cannot accommodate this volume
increase, the inner pressure rises until tripping the safety device, that by discharging the excess water prevents any
tank overpressures; see the “expansion tank” section par. 3.2.3.
4.3
Temperature regulation
The heat pump water heater is equipped with an electronic regulation system for the management of the
temperature and of the complementary air resistance. The control panel, simple and rational, consists of four control
buttons for the management of the different functions.
4.3.1
Standard operation
(without any activated control)
The tank temperature appears on the display.
Water is brought to the temperature of 56°C by the heat pump. The cooling fan goes on when the heat pump is on
and goes off 10 seconds after the pump switch-off if the Hot Air function is not enabled.
4.3.2
Turbo function
When the function is enabled, the relevant LED stays on.
This command keeps the heat pump running in standard mode and enables the water heating resistance
until reaching the set temperature of 56°C. Once the temperature in question is reached the resistance
goes off and the system switches back to normal operation.
The Turbo function is disabled manually by pressing the button again or automatically when the set
temperature is reached.
if the water temperature already exceeds the set value the function is not enabled.
