1. IMPORTANT
1. Read all instructions before operating the scale.
2. Do not use the scale under sun or keep it away from heating
appliances such as oven, stove, etc.
3. This scale does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not
disassemble.
4. Use the scale for its intended purpose only.
Note:
The display value may be affected by electromagnetic in-
fluences, e.g. when a radio is operated in the immediate vicinity of
the device. The product can be used for its intended purpose again
when the interference is discontinued, but may need to be switched
on again to re-start.
2. POWER SOURCE
1. AC adapter: Open the AC adapter power plug cover located on
the back side of the scale, connect the adapter to the receptacle
and plug into an electrical outlet.
2. AA batteries:
• Install 3 AA batteries in the battery compartment located on
the bottom of the scale, ensuring that the positive/negative
side is in the direction as shown inside.

will appear on display when power is insufficient.
• When replacing batteries, always use brand new batteries of
the same type.

4. OPERATION
WEIGHING
1. Turn the scale on by pressing , LCD will show “
88888
” then
“
0.000
”.
2. Place the item to be weighed in the middle of weighing pan,
weight of the item will be displayed.
SELECTING WEIGHT UNIT
Press to select weight unit in kg (kilogram), lb (pounds), lb-
oz (pounds-ounces) or oz (ounces).
TARE
Press , weight of the item on the weighing pan will be elimi-
nated and the reading changed to zero.
Note:
The scale displays a negative reading if removing the item,
press again to return to zero.
5. CALIBRATION
To obtain the best weighing result, calibrate this scale periodically,
especially when it is not in use for a long time.
1. Under the power is off, press and hold down till LCD shows
the internal counts value.
2. Wait until the value stabilizes, press again, LCD will show
“
ZERO
”, later show a calibration weight.
3. Place standard weight mass of the required weight on the
platform. Press again, LCD will show “
CAL
” then “
PASS
”.
Remove weight mass and turn the power off, calibration is
completed.
6. OVERLOAD
When loading capacity exceeds the maximum capacity of this scale,
“
-----
” will be displayed on LCD screen. Remove the item(s)
immediately from the scale platform to avoid damage to the scale.
7. POWER OFF
The scale will automatically shut off when idle for a period of time or
the scale can be power off manually by pressing the
key.
8. CLEANING
• If the scale is running on AC power, unplug the scale and close
the power plug cover before cleaning.
• Clean with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents to clean the scale,
scrub with abrasive material or use corrosive cleanser.
9. WEEE DIRECTIVE & PRODUCT DISPOSAL
At the end of its serviceable life, this product should not be treated as
household or general waste. It should be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equip-
ment, or returned to the supplier for disposal.
