Handling
Handling of the menus:
In the menus, selection is done using the
Ç È
keys. Using
Å
the menu is left and the next
higher menu level is loaded. Use
Æ
or
C
or
ON
to select a menu entry and open the lower level
menu or the attached function. The active menu item is shown in bold.
Handling of input masks:
In the input masks with numeric input the number keys are used for number input. To switch to
the next field the
ON
key is used. The arrow keys are selected by pressing
SHIFT
key
simultaneously. Using the arrow keys
Ç È
you can switch to the previous / next field.
At the bottom of the input mask you will use the field
to leave the mask without storing
changes. If the field
is used, changes are stored. A numeric input field can only be leaved if
the input value is in valid range (Number is shown in green color). If the input value is invalid, it
is shown in red color.
Exit:
All menus, input masks or even MX300 Basic applications can be left using the
SHIFT+Clear
key. Take care to pres both keys at the same time!
Main menu structure
By default the extended menu is shown. It can be switched to reduced menus also. The switch
between reduced and extended menus can be protected by a User PIN. In the following menu
structure, all menu items which are available only in extended mode are shown in
italics
.
The setup of the User PIN is done in Define PIN. This is protected by the System PIN. User PIN
and System PIN are both defined with up to 6 digits. If the User PIN is kept empty, the menu
switching is done directly. Is the System PIN is kept empty, Define PIN can be called without
protection.
