Installation

Planning the installation

Marking the end bracket locations

IMPORTANT:

It is strongly recommended that you use a level for this step.

Measure up 72 in. from the floor to the place you will install the curved rod.

For 60 in. tub openings: use a level to measure and mark 5 in. in towards the tub.
For 72 in. tub openings: use a level to measure and mark 8 in. in towards the tub.

Then, using a level, lightly draw a vertical line approximately 4 in. down.

Repeat this entire step for the other end of the tub.

If the length of the tub opening is between 60 in. and 72 in., either location may be used to
install the end brackets.

Measure the space between the walls of the bathtub or shower where your rod assembly
will be installed. The assembly can be extended to fit certain measurements.

Hold the rod assembly in place to determine the height of the installation. A second person
may be required to assist you.

Hold the 1 in. end bracket (B) against the wall so
that the mark is centered in the top screw hole
as shown.

Mark the location of the other screw hole along
the vertical line you drew in step 1.

Mark the location of the bottom screw hole.

Mark the 7/8 in. end bracket (C) and then use a
level to ensure the two end bracket locations are
level and even.

Drill the two marked spots for each end bracket.
If necessary, insert tile or drywall anchors
(included) into the holes.

Fasten the 1 in. end bracket (B) to the
wall, using two mounting screws (D).
Fasten the 7/8 in. end bracket (C) to
the wall using two mounting screws
(D).

Insert the end of the 7/8 in. tube into the
end of the 1 in. diameter tube as shown.
Extend the tubes to the proper length to fit
between the end brackets.

Fasten the 1 in. diameter tube to the 1 in. end
bracket (B) using an end bracket screw (E) and
threaded insert (F). Tighten using the hex wrench
