DPTF Feature:
Enables/disables the DPTF (Dynamic
Platform&Thermal Framework) feature.
Note:
You must install the DPTF driver as described in
2.5
Driver Installation
on page
25
to use this feature.
Thermal Sensor
The following items are available only when DPTF feature
is enabled.
Thermal Sensor:
Enables/disables thermal sensor.
If thermal sensor is enabled, below options are available:
Critical:
Set the value of temperature of the thermal
sensor critical trip point. When this point is reached, the
OS will shut down the system.
Passive:
Set the value of temperature of the thermal
sensor passive trip point. When this point is reached, the
system will throttle the processor.
5.3.5 SATA Configuration
The
SATA Configuration
screen provides the following setting options:

SATA Controller
Enables/disables the present SATA controller.
Options are: Enabled [default], Disabled
Chipset SATA Mode
Configures the mode for the installed drive(s).
Options: AHCI [default], IDE
IDE Mode:
Available only when IDE is selected as
Chipset SATA Mode.
Options: Native IDE, Legacy IDE
Serial ATA Port 0
Displays the information detected on the installed SATA
drive and its security mode.
