Tension  recommendation:  35-50  Hz  (28-40  lbs).  These  tension  recommendations  are  a  good
starting point, which may need to be adjusted higher or lower based on the rider size, gear ratio,
and  power  placed  on  the  pedals.    For  more  details  on  the  proper  belt  tension,  please  go  to

Riding with electric assistance

The GLEAM Cargo eBike is equipped with a Bosch eBike system that assists you while pedalling. Without
pedalling, there is no assistance. The motor output always depends on the amount of your pedalling power.
When applying less pedalling power, the assistance level will be lower than when applying a lot of pedalling
power. This applies independent of the selected assistance level. If you excess speeds of 25 km/h, the eBike
drive and the power assistance will automatically switch off until your speeds falls below 25km/h again.

8.4.

Batteries

Use only the Bosch charger provided with your eBike or an identical original Bosch charger. Only this charger
is matched to the lithium-ion battery pack used in your eBike.

The battery pack is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery pack capacity, completely
charge the battery pack in the charger before using for the first time.

If you use the DualBattery system on the GLEAM
eBike consider the following:

No journey is too long: DualBattery is the perfect
solution  for  you.  The  combination  of  two  Bosch
batteries  delivers  up  to  1.000  Wh  and  can  be
installed  also  after  you  bought  the  vehicle.  The
system  switches  intelligently  between  the  two
batteries  both  during  charging  and  discharging.
The  Battery  Management  System  also  offers
maximum protection for the DualBattery system
against  overcharging,  undervoltage,  overheating
and short circuits as well as extending the service
life of the batteries.

Make sure the battery is properly connected to ensure functionally. When the battery is inserted
in the holder

a “click” sound has to be heard.
